I recently purchased an old model car that I wanted to patch up as a project of mine. I rebuilt the engine and everything was going fine until I needed to get the car resprayed. I was looking around for a reputable spray painting business and found this place called airbrush now.

Airbrush now were awesome, they did more than just respray my car. They took me through the process of how a car can be repainted and made it super simple for me to understand. If you don’t know what’s involved, I’ll tell you exactly what they told me.

Paints are not all made equal. There’s all kinds of it that you can use on your vehicle. The guys at airbrush now talked to me about acrylics, translucents and even metalics. I ended up opting for a hot pink plain base with an extra shine finish. The car looks awesome, it’s a real head turner.

The process they use is pretty straight forward too. They first clean the vehicle by removing rust and filling in old scratches. I never thought this could be done so if I had of done the job myself, it wouldn’t look as good as it does now.

After removing the old paint with some kind of solvent, they tape up parts of the car that aren’t going to be painted such as the windows and drivers side mirror. This process is called masking.

All that was left to do was respray the car. They used a nifty spray gun and it didn’t take long at all. In fact, they let me play car games on one of their computers while I stuck around and waited for the job to be finished!

Even if you have a novated lease you can still get this type of maintenance done on your car.
